The man in the mirror

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to see myself from someone else's eyes;Even if just for a few minutes. Would I like what I see? If nothing else, this thought reminds me how important it is to do what's right. I wouldn't be human if I was never tempted to do bad things. I'd be lying if I told you I didn't want to hit at least one person almost every day. I can have a short temper and can definitely get frustrated, but there's one thing I can't bring myself to do. I cannot hurt someone, not intentionally. And I do mean mentally as well as physical. The few times that I allowed myself to blow up on someone I found myself more confused than relieved. I am always the first to talk you out of making a bad choice, because I'm always the one to think of all the possible outcomes of doing that thing. So when I do slip out of character I find myself wondering who I am. I sit and I try to figure out what logical reason I had to do that. Now I'm not suggesting you beat yourself up over a few mistakes, trust me that isn't the best path. It's dark and lonely and most of us don't make it back out. Fortunately I have and I can tell you honestly it's better to swallow your pride and be the bigger person. Don't be afraid to apologize and don't be too proud to own up to the things you've done. The bottom line is that whatever excuses you come up with can't hide the fact you made a mistake. It's okay, we all make them. The best advice I can give you is to make sure that you can look in the mirror every day and love the person you see and you can be proud of the person in the mirror. If you can't do that, it's time to make some changes. Make a change, start with the man in the mirror(or woman🤷🏻♀️). I'll hold you hand through the hard parts.
