SURPRISE😱😱

Surprises are great. It's like forgetting about holidays or set dates that are "special". YOU are special TODAY. Not because it's your birthday or Christmas. You are special because you are you and I appreciate you. Surprises are one small way that the people that we love show us that they love us too. Now some surprises are better than others. The best kind of surprise is the one that you think isn't even possible. The best surprises are the ones where that person made some sort of sacrifice to make you feel special. It isn't easy to make sacrifices, we are all so scared to give up our preferences for the benefit of someone else. These moments are rare, for some more so than others. I recently was faced with a very simple but very meaningful surprise. Someone I love very much did something that he wasn't a big supporter of, and I am still in denial about it. It's so overwhelming to experience something that you not only didn't see coming but could in no way prepare for. If nothing else I have learned to appreciate these moments no matter how big or small. It takes quite a lot to completely throw me off guard, so I will enjoy it every time it happens. Why not?
