If you fight for equal rights between the sexes but refuse to take equal responsibility, you're a bad feminist. Its as simple as this, you cannot have one without the other. If you think you can you are delusional and should consider seeing someone. Okay, maybe that's a little harsh but seriously, as with everything in life more privelages comes with more responsibility. I totally understand you not wanting to accept this because responsibilities are a pain in the ass. However if we are to prove that we deserve equal rights we will have to work for it. Take this for example: many women feel that when in a relationship with a man he should spoil her to no end with no questions asked. Here's the flaw, if you continuously take away from something(or someone) and never replenish it, it will eventually run out. In other words, he's gonna leave your high maintenance ass for someone who appreciates him. If you really want him to spoil you, spoil him too! If you want him to always compliment you, tell him some nice things. And seriously ladies, don't think you're too good to pick up the bill every now and then, because you're not. Relationships are about teamwork. How does this situation relate to our topic? Well let me put it like so: If you want all the diamonds, you're gonna have to polish a few rocks.
