controversy of church

Church sucks. Like I have no simpler way of putting it. If you plan on going to church you may as well have dunce written on your forehead. How many times is it reiterated to us that we are not to judge others; that it is God's job to do so? I'm going to assume you've heard that quite a lot in your lifetime. But you know what the congregation does as soon as you walk in? They judge you, they'll give you dirty looks and whisper to their neighbors. You know what my favorite part is? They do these things and then act they like they are some divine creature sent here by the almighty himself just to critisize you. Like excuse me, I can see right through your little act you know? I mean honestly are people really that ignorant? Hold on, let me stop before I actually offend someone. I know its nearly impossible not to judge someone when you see them, its your brain's immediate reaction; but the looks and whispers and flat out being fake is completely uncalled for, not to mention hypocritical. The other thing I really don't like about church is that no one really acts like that during the week. I could've fallen off the face of the planet and do you think anyone tried to contact me? No. Well maybe one person but they gave up pretty quickly. Also who really cares if you can memorize a few paragraphs from the bible ? What are you really accomplishing? In case you didn't know this we are supposed to be doers of the word not just memorizers. How many people in the congregation are all talk and no action? I think its safe to say the majority are. And to be frank, going to church is a lot like going to high school. No matter how old the people are they are all wired the same, its human nature. Bullying does not stop at the double doors of a church, if anything it just gets worse. I don't go to church and don't have any desire to set foot in one again. A little tip, the "church" is the people and therefore you and I can worship and study at any time and at any place. And not to burst anyone's bubble but sitting in a building once a week and memorizing a lesson does not make you holy; and if you think it does maybe you need to study and pray a little harder.
